Job Opportunity:

  • We seek a skilled Purchasing Specialist to ensure seamless communication between vendors and internal clients.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory levels is crucial, achieved by monitoring stock-flow, analyzing sales trends, and identifying influencing variables.
  • This role delivers efficient results by meeting inventory targets and maintaining forecast accuracy.
  • The Purchasing Specialist will coordinate inbound logistics pickup planning and manage inventory across primary pipelines and distribution channels.
  • Closely monitoring finished goods inventory prevents stock write-offs, risk on freshness and quality, and timely escalation.
  • This position oversees Inventory Planning, MRP function, and manages a team of Planners.
  • Providing planning inputs for phase-in/phase-out plans in consultation with vendors and internal teams is essential.
  • Liaising with vendors resolves supply shortages and gaps.
  • Analyzing large data sets applying statistical techniques is critical.
  • Partnering with sourcing and other planners identifies and reconciles discrepancies.
