As a creative video editor, you will play a crucial role in bringing clients' visions to life. Your expertise in manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques will be essential in crafting engaging stories that captivate audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with directors to determine production vision and ensure alignment with client goals
- Review raw material to create shot lists and manage continuity throughout the project
- Trim footage, assemble rough projects, and insert dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects
- Ensure projects follow a logical sequence and meet client expectations
- Consult with directors and production teams to guarantee high-quality outputs
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
- Knowledge of color correction, visual effects, and audio mixing
- Experience with motion graphics and animation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
