Azure Cloud Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems using Microsoft Azure.

This role requires strong technical skills, including hands-on experience with Azure services such as Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based systems using Azure services.
  • Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networks, and other cloud resources.
  • Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring optimal operation and reliability.
  • Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, including user and group management, roles, and permissions.
  • Perform regular updates, patches, and security configurations to ensure the integrity and security of cloud environments.
  • Implement and manage backup and recovery processes for Azure resources.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Azure Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security.
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and management tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Log Analytics.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with compliance and security standards related to cloud environments.
