Job Title: Academic Researcher in International Relations

We are seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals to join our team as Academic Researchers in the Amity Institute of International Studies (AIIS) at Amity University, Noida.

About the Role:
  • A Master's degree with a Ph.D. in International Relations from a reputable institution is required.
  • Publishing notable research papers in Scopus/ Web of Science indexed journals is essential for this role.
  • The candidate should have experience according to UGC guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and basic computational skills are necessary.

The remuneration for this position will be determined based on individual experience.

About AIIS:

The Amity Institute of International Studies was established to contribute significantly to the existing knowledge domain in International Relations.

Ahead of its time, AIIS introduced International Relations programs at the undergraduate level, making it the first institute in India to do so.

Benchmarked with renowned institutions like Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Castle University, University of Michigan, and Pondicherry University, our courses aim to equip students for nationally and internationally recognized positions in universities, think tanks, and industries.

We have signed MoUs with prestigious institutions like National Maritime Foundation, United Services Institute, Jinan University, China, and Plymouth University, UK, enriching our curriculum and making it more inclusive and diverse.

Purpose and Objectives:
  • Cultivating future leaders and diplomats in foreign and public international studies through multi-disciplinary approaches is our primary objective.
  • Incorporating innovative pedagogy for teaching, research, training, and consulting in related fields is essential.
  • Achieving academic excellence by offering programs at UG, PG, and doctoral levels, including a one-year PG Diploma in Peace and Conflict Studies, is our mission.
  • Organizing special lectures, round table discussions, seminars, workshops, and conferences is an ongoing process.
  • Fostering student-initiated activities like intra-model UN, IR Dialogues, AIIS Blog, Newsletters, Club Activities, and Matrix Gaming exercises is encouraged.
