Technical Garment Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Garment Expert to join our team.

This role is critical in ensuring the seamless translation of AI-generated clothing visuals into production-ready garment specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in garment manufacturing and production development, with experience working with Western wear or made-to-measure garments.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Interpreting AI-generated fashion designs into detailed tech packs with accurate measurements and construction guidelines.
  • Developing specification sheets covering sizing, fabric type, seam construction, trims, and finishing techniques.
  • Closely collaborating with pattern makers, production, and design teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.
  • Establishing quality control checkpoints across sampling and production stages.
  • Conducting inspections for measurements, workmanship, and finish during pre-production and post-production reviews.
  • Auditing in-house fabrics and trims; approving only materials meeting quality standards.
  • Setting clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) for construction techniques across garments.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in garment tech or production development in a fashion house or boutique.
  • Strong technical expertise in fit, finishing, and fabric behavior.
  • Prior experience working with Western wear or made-to-measure garments is essential.
  • Proficiency in creating spec packs, sample reviews, and garment construction assessments.
  • An eye for detail, precision in communication, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
