The Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Global Customer Platform team in Consumer and Community Banking will be responsible for:

  • Representing a product family in technical governance bodies
  • Defining and providing feedback on architecture governance practices and patterns
  • Guiding evaluation of current technology and leading evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
  • Providing technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Supporting engineering teams on design, creation and review of code with a focus on security, quality, reliability and scalability
  • Driving decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must have:

  • Formal training or certification on software concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in cloud technology, micro-services architecture, event driven architecture and domain driven design
  • Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
  • Practical cloud native experience
