Content Editor - Sports Division

We are seeking an experienced content editor to join our sports division. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for sports and storytelling, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for crafting compelling articles.

  • Edit and publish high-quality articles on a daily basis, ensuring they meet the highest standards of accuracy and relevance.
  • Fine-tune content to enhance its impact and resonance with readers, leveraging deep understanding of the target audience.
  • Work closely with writers and content managers to refine and elevate the content we publish.
  • Mentor junior editors and writers, helping them grow and evolve as contributors to the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Media/ Journalism, or related field.
  • 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or similar role.
  • Strong command of the English language and understanding of American culture.
  • Energetic and creative approach to editing, ensuring each piece resonates with readers.
