  • Develop target costing and establish detailed should cost estimates for components and subsystems.
  • Deliver design to cost and source to cost targets achievements for the component targets of programs.
  • Develop component/subsystem knowledge repository covering competition, technology, products, processes, etc., and apply it in developing cost models.
  • Cost reduction target for the sub-systems/modules.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in design of Seat & Restrains system/HVAC components, products, or systems for automobile applications or other equivalent experience.
  • Purchasing and development of Seat & Restrains system/HVAC components, products, or systems for automobile applications.
  • Analyze cost pack and preparing cost estimate for an Seat & Restrains system/HVAC components.
  • Understand and review design & cost elements, technical data sheets, and design calculation.
  • Keep ahead of new technologies and processes surrounding & manufacturers.
  • Have a good understanding of most of the following: Trim parts, Seat designing, airbag, seatbelt, HVAC technologies, interfacing car components, types of seats, stability analysis, vehicle network structure, RF design, vehicle safety design.
