Medical Editor Position

We are seeking an accomplished Medical Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of medical terminology and the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in edited content.

This role involves collaborating with medical writers and subject matter experts to produce high-quality, compliant content for publication or regulatory submission. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and proofreading medical manuscripts, scientific slide decks, journal articles, regulatory documents, and educational materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and Proofread: Ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency in edited content
  • Maintain Style Guidelines: Adhere to brand style and client guidelines
  • Fact-Check: Verify medical terminology, data, and references for accuracy and integrity
  • TYPESetting Checks: Ensure font, symbols, text, and image clarity/visibility

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's Degree in Life Sciences/Pharmacy (B.Sc./M.Sc./MBBS) or related field
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in medical and/or scientific editing within the pharmaceutical industry

Languages: Excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written)
