A Cloud Network Engineer at Arista Networks plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless customer transitions from initial exposure to full operational capability. Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer situations to develop comprehensive requirements
  • Gather technical requirements for designing networks to be deployed
  • Develop and provide designs aligned with client needs
  • Create High and Low Level Design documents as guides during and after network deployment
  • Execute test plans to validate newly deployed Arista networks
  • Work with customers to plan, write, and execute Methods of Procedure documents outlining steps to migrate production network traffic
  • Perform Knowledge Transfer Training on Arista network Designs, Platforms, and Features
  • Ongoing operational support to customers
  • Develop professional relationships with customers to assist with solution deployment projects
Capabilities
  • Specializing in Design and Deployment of Industry-Leading Cloud-Based Solutions
  • Ability to develop accurate and meaningful requirements for datacenter infrastructure projects
  • Datacenter infrastructure high-level and low-level design experience
  • Advanced network protocol knowledge
  • Linux operating system knowledge
  • Experience working with all levels of the business from engineering deck to executive suite
  • Experience delivering technical and operational training to customers
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • A computer science (or similar) degree
  • 5+ years of industry experience focused on IP networks
