Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team, working on e-commerce payments solutions. As a key member, you'll collaborate closely with product owners and team members to clarify business needs and technical requirements.

You will work in an Agile environment, participating in technical discussions and decisions, developing and continuously delivering applications for one of the most successful pet e-commerce platforms in Europe.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Solution investigation, estimation, planning, and alignment;
  • Designing, implementing, and supporting backend solutions using microservices architecture;
  • Collaborating with QA teams to integrate quality assurance tooling and processes;
  • Promoting test automation (unit tests, integration tests, e2e tests, and performance tests);
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and development;
  • Deploying applications on the cloud using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform;
  • Working closely with the team in an agile and collaborative environment, involving code reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing, and incident coordination;
  • Maintaining existing applications and reducing technical debt.
Key Requirements

Our ideal candidate has excellent English communication skills, 6+ years of experience with Java 11+ and Spring framework, and 2+ years of TDD/BDD application.

The role requires focus on automated testing, good experience with different levels of tests, ability to understand architectural landscapes, and technically investigate and implement new features independently.

A strong DevOps background, including container orchestration, CI, monitoring, and alerting, is also essential.

Experience with relational/non-relational databases, Microservices, and end-to-end payment systems is required.
