The ideal candidate will have strong debugging skills, experience working with agile development practices, and a good understanding of source control systems and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality COBOL code for desktop applications.
  • Maintain code quality and organization, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other developers and business teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 7 years of experience developing and maintaining COBOL applications.
  • 4+ years of experience developing Micro Focus COBOL applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and source control systems.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
