
Cross-Border Business Development Executive

As an International Business Expansion Manager, you will play a pivotal role in promoting international markets as attractive business destinations to Indian companies and conglomerates. You will be responsible for engaging with senior leadership of Indian companies, understanding their global expansion objectives, and facilitating business attraction in coordination with international economic development agencies.
This is a high-visibility, strategic role contributing to cross-border business expansion and international trade facilitation.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to manage C-suite level relationships and drive business growth through effective relationship management, market intelligence, and strategic outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and map potential Indian corporates and conglomerates with interest in overseas business expansion.
- Engage with senior executives to promote international geographies for business growth.
- Drive lead generation and corporate outreach programs on behalf of international EDAs across multiple sectors and regions.
- Collaborate with global government agencies and EDAs, ensuring effective positioning of their respective geographies.
- Plan and execute sector-specific outreach, B2B meetings, and international business roadshows.
- Support inbound and outbound trade/market missions, facilitating productive corporate engagements.
- Provide market intelligence and reports on Indian outbound investment trends and sector-specific insights.
- Prepare presentations, industry pitches, and reports aligned with the objectives of our clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Economics, International Relations, or related disciplines.
- 3- 6 years of experience in business development, investment promotion, international trade advisory, or market entry consulting.
- Exposure to working with international trade bodies, Corporate Bank, investment agencies, chambers of commerce, or consulting firms is preferred.
Core Competencies:
- Proven capability in senior-level relationship management and business development.
- Strong ability to sell a country/region as a business destination.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of business drivers, global trade, and cross-border investment trends.
- Experience in managing corporate outreach, roadshows, and delegation visits.
- A network of Indian corporates, conglomerates, and high-growth enterprises is a distinct advantage.
- Cross-cultural communication skills and international exposure are highly desirable.
