Job Summary:

We are seeking a Middleware Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and administering middleware technologies, including application servers, web servers, and messaging systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage application servers, web servers, enterprise service buses, and other middleware components.
  • Deploy, configure, and monitor enterprise applications across middleware platforms.
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of middleware services through proper configurations.
  • Monitor the performance of middleware platforms, including CPU utilization, memory usage, disk space, and log files to ensure peak performance.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and work on tuning middleware and application server configurations to improve response times and throughput.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in managing and administering middleware technologies.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with middleware platforms such as WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, Oracle Fusion Middleware, or Tibco.
  • Experience with application servers, web servers, and messaging systems (e.g., IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, etc.).
  • Understanding of enterprise application integration (EAI), enterprise service bus (ESB), and message-oriented middleware (MOM).
  • Knowledge of system monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques.
  • Familiarity with security practices and user authentication mechanisms for middleware platforms.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration and command-line tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, REST, JMS) and their role in middleware.
  • Familiarity with database connectivity and JDBC configurations.
  • Experience in handling middleware-related backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based middleware solutions is a plus (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
