Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description:

As a senior automation engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. You will design, implement, and execute test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities include troubleshooting, debugging, and analyzing test failures to ensure issues are resolved promptly. You will also ensure that the quality assurance process is well-documented and adhered to throughout the software development life cycle.

Furthermore, you will review product requirements and provide feedback regarding testability, edge cases, and validation techniques. You will work closely with developers and product managers to understand project goals and contribute to the overall quality strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Automation experience (Selenium, Specflow+ C#), security, performance testing, manual testing, API testing, web application testing, ReadyAPI (SmartBear) for API Test TestComplete (JavaScript) for Web Application.
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in QA automation, with strong knowledge of test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug test failures.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
