Are you a master of large-scale data processing?

We are seeking a skilled Kafka Administrator to join our team, responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-performance Kafka clusters.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage large-scale Kafka clusters on-prem and in the cloud.
  • Perform upgrades, patches, and disaster recovery planning to ensure security, availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of Kafka clusters.
  • Monitor performance, collect metrics, and optimize configurations to improve cluster efficiency.
  • Automate Kafka cluster installations, topic/ACL/connector deployments using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps.
  • Collaborate with developers and provide expert-level Kafka guidance to ensure seamless integration.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2.5 years of experience in Kafka Administration, preferably with Confluent and AWS MSK.
  • Strong knowledge of Big Data & Hadoop Ecosystem, Apache Spark, and Linux/Unix Systems & Windows Server.
  • Proficiency in Shell/Python scripting and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins, and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
  • Atlassian stack experience, including JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket (Git).
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with IBM MQ/RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
