Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst role involves collaborating with pricing managers and merchants to develop and optimize pricing strategies for various product categories across channels. This position utilizes advanced analytics to forecast and measure the impact of pricing actions, create strategic price zones, recommend price changes, and identify sales/margin opportunities to achieve company targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analytics: Provide cluster-specific data insights, including development and deployment of necessary dashboards, reporting, and analysis.
  • Research and Development: Investigate, design, and develop applicable statistical approaches/models for specific business problems (price testing, price change, post-mortem, and category review).
  • Data Management: Design and develop processes to gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources.
  • Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor demographics and performance for pricing across key categories.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Develop executive-ready presentations synthesizing multiple data sets to effect a new decision related to Pricing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, statistics, economics, or any other quantitative discipline plus 3+ years' experience in an analytical role OR 6+ years of relevant experience in a professional environment.

Skill Set Required:

  • Experience in data mining and visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, GCP, and SQL (ETL).
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to accumulate, evaluate, and generate insights from disparate data sources.
  • Story building with data – Presentations that depict results in a way that can be shared across levels and actionable insights.
  • Technical expertise in Tableau, Knime, Power Automate, Python, and statistical concepts/modeling.
