Technical Services Manager Role Summary

As a seasoned professional in the field of polymer science, you will drive customer-centric solutions, collaborate with sales teams, and shape product development by bridging market needs with internal functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality technical services and formulation support for targeted segments.
  • Develop and adapt formulations to meet local market requirements.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Perform thorough competitive analysis and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure seamless compliance with statutory and internal standards.
Additional Key Aspects:
  • Efficiently manage lab operations while maintaining EHS and ISO requirements.
  • Support customer complaint resolution and application troubleshooting.
  • Ensure lab equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and documented results are accurately recorded.
  • Participate in field trials and on-site customer visits as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Master's of Engineering in Chemistry is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in formulation, specifically in Polymer dispersions/coatings, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of polymer science and standard test methods.
  • Exceptional customer focus with the ability to provide prompt, practical solutions.
