Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer to join our team at Fluke Connect. As an iOS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining iOS applications that meet the needs of our customers.

  • Design and implement iOS applications that meet the requirements of our customers.
  • Work with our Agile development team to deliver high-quality applications that meet our project milestones and schedules.
  • Interface with various product groups across the organization to contribute to the development of Fluke Connect features.
  • Rapidly prototype features and new concepts to ensure that our applications meet the needs of our customers.
  • Work with our support engineers to test and deploy Cloud/IOT based iOS applications.
  • Design and implement reusable frameworks and libraries to improve the efficiency of our development process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • 3-4 years of experience developing iOS based Applications and test infrastructures, writing documentation and following an agile development methodology.
  • Demonstrated depth of experience in communicating with internal groups, including Product Management and Operations.
  • Proven ownership and delivery of a sizable product or product component, strong sense of independence and self-direction is essential.
  • Availability for travel and flexible work hours to work with teams across time zones.

Technical Competencies

The ideal candidate will have the following technical competencies:

  • 3-4 years of iOS application development experience in native and hybrid environment.
  • Experience working with CoreBluetooth, AFNetworking.
  • On-device database experience with CoreData, SQLite and other databases.
  • Experience developing client-server applications using technologies and web services APIs such as JSON, REST.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and design standards, experience with localization tools for iOS. Knowledge of debug and test tools like UI Automation, Cucumber with Calabash, OCMock; analysis with Instruments, Leaks and other tools.
  • Extensive experience in using various architecture, frameworks and design patterns in designing/refactoring highly optimized web applications is a must.
  • Extensive experience working in TDD (Test Driven Development)/BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Deployment) environment.

Qualification

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with good academic records and no gaps.
