G2 is a leading software marketplace that provides real-time taxonomy and research to help businesses make informed decisions. We are currently seeking a skilled Market Research Associate to join our team.
As a Market Research Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the analyst team in maintaining category integrity across various software markets, with a focus on Sales, Marketing, HR, and Customer Service software. You will identify and source products to fulfill analysts' vision for new categories, research and categorize new and evolving software products within our taxonomy, and contribute to the development of educational content for our category pages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Support & Development: Support the analyst team in maintaining category integrity across various software markets, with a focus on Sales, Marketing, HR, and Customer Service software.
- Advisory Influence: Gain exposure across various software markets, learn about the process to educate buyers about software solutions, and assist with engaging buyers and reviewers on our platform.
- Thought Leadership & Analysis: Provide support to senior analysts in developing in-depth articles, SEO-driven web copy, and blog posts to help buyers find the right solutions.
- Collaboration: Work directly with analysts across various markets and project types, and collaborate with the G2 team to develop and deliver new reports and insights.
Requirements:
- Strong research and analysis skills, with a passion for developing written research capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in B2B software markets.
- Fast learner who can work independently and adapt to new challenges.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
