ServiceNow Application Developer

This is a key role that involves driving innovation and transformation through the use of ServiceNow technology.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing and developing process-based solutions that meet business requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical plans.

  • You will perform proactive analysis on daily work to automate deliveries, reducing repetitive tasks and processes.
  • Manage primary products requiring expertise in ServiceNow, with a proven track record of creating scoped applications and portal customizations.
  • Provide end-to-end support for ServiceNow-based application design and implementation, including building technical plans and managing upgrades.
  • Transform business requirements into business processes and demonstrate experience with designing and developing process-based solutions.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and participate in ServiceNow infrastructure upgrades, migration, configuration, support, maintenance, and technical escalations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across geographies and time zones.
  • Adhere to internal processes for supporting the service, including change management and incident management policy.
  • Take the lead on new initiatives, such as ServiceNow upgrades and process simplification, driving teams towards these objectives.

Requirements for Success:

  • 5+ years of software development experience with significant ServiceNow application development exposure.
  • Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change Management, and API integrations.
  • ServiceNow certification (CSA, CIS) is a must.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and developing process-based solutions, as well as documenting user case processes and BPM workflows.
  • Ability to transform business requirements into business processes and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • End-to-end experience with ServiceNow-based application design and implementation.
  • Excellent verbal, active listening, and written communication skills, along with demonstrated facilitation skills.
