Mobile Engineer

We are building a precise and humane virtual fencing solution for livestock management. Our system leverages Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) to provide control without traditional electric shocks.

The role is at the intersection of Climate and AI, where you will develop a mobile application that helps manage and monitor herds efficiently.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with founders, product teams, and API engineers to design and implement a scalable tool for farmers. Your responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with farming partners to understand their needs and build an app that meets those requirements.
  • Maintaining high engineering and coding standards.

You will thrive in this role if you are passionate about developing software products iteratively, care about your craft, and are committed to the mission of the software you're developing.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in building mobile apps using React Native, proficiency in the Typescript ecosystem, and a thorough understanding of interface guidelines for Apple and Android apps.

In the first six months, you will focus on building a mobile app that allows farmers to see their farm map with multiple layers and annotations. This involves creating virtual polygons to plot regions, annotating points of interest, and generating heat maps of livestock activity.
