Data Engineering Position Overview

Our company is seeking an experienced data engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems using various technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing data pipelines using Python, Apache Beam, and other related tools.
  • Developing and maintaining scalable data storage solutions using Big Query, Cloud SQL, and other Google Cloud services.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Maintaining high levels of system availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of our engineering practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL development and 5+ years of analytics/data product development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Google Cloud services, including Big Query, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Run.
  • Experience working in GCP native services like Big Query, Google Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Airflow for scheduling and orchestration of data pipelines.
  • 1+ year of experience working with Terraform to provision Infrastructure as Code.
  • 2+ years of professional development experience in Python.

Education Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
