Lead Biostatistician Position

This role requires a skilled professional to lead the development and implementation of statistical methodologies in clinical research studies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology, as well as strong programming skills in SAS and/or R.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the work of biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers on clinical research studies.
  • Provide expert consultation to projects across the company on statistical methodology and solve problems of complex statistical scope.
  • Develop and implement study analysis plans and statistical programs to perform analyses and display study data.
  • Ensure the scientific integrity of research projects and the accuracy of reported results.
  • Perform sample size calculation and provide leadership in the statistical design of research projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in related fields with a Master's degree or 1 year of experience with a PhD.
  • Experience with methodological statistical research, including publication and/or presentation of work in statistical methods development.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R.
  • Expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
