Job Title: Database Lead Developer

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Database Lead Developer to take charge of our database team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, releasing, maintaining, and providing technical support for database development.
  • They will also be responsible for reviewing existing PL/SQL packages for changes, performance, and tuning improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new and review existing PL/SQL packages, procedures to support development efforts.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
  • Analyze query execution plans and optimize queries for speed and resource utilization.
  • Work closely with developers, system administrators, and data analysts to support database-related needs.
  • Develop scripts and tools for database monitoring, management, and automation.
  • Identify and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in database development, preferably in Oracle RDBMS.
  • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in working with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP, TDD).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • B.Tech/B.E degree (must)
  • Master's Degree (preferred)

Skills:

  • PL/SQL programming language.
  • Oracle RDBMS.
  • Database design, development, testing, and maintenance.
  • High availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
  • Query optimization and analysis.
  • Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP, TDD).
