Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Junior Architect to contribute to our team at Sahanas Creations. As a Junior Architect, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of architectural projects, including apartments, villas, resorts, hotels, institutions, corporate offices, and factory offices. This is a full-time position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in architectural design
  • Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
  • Excellent visualization and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of architectural projects, including creating concepts, developing detailed drawings, and preparing construction documents
  • Collaborate with senior architects and designers to implement design strategies and ensure projects meet client requirements and design standards
  • Conduct research on materials, building codes, and regulations to support design decisions
  • Assist in reviewing and approving architectural designs and plans
  • Prepare presentations, renderings, and other visual materials to communicate design ideas to clients
  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution
  • Participate in site visits and meetings to monitor project progress and resolve any design-related issues
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and materials
