Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced researchers with strong physics backgrounds to fine-tune and evaluate large language models. Your work will enhance the understanding and problem-solving capabilities of LLMs in complex physics domains, including mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum theory.

Key Objectives

  • An electron is emitted radially from a cylindrical conductor due to the magnetic field. Determine the maximum radial distance from the axis.
  • A pion travels through a material, losing energy at a constant rate. Given its rest mass and proper lifetime, calculate the probability it decays within a certain distance.
  • These tasks aim to identify model weaknesses and improve training and evaluation workflows.

Candidate Profile:

  • Academic Background: PhD/Postdoc in Physics or Applied Physics.
  • Strong analytical skills to solve advanced physics problems with clear reasoning.
  • Effective communication skills to explain complex topics and provide precise feedback.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and participate actively in team discussions.
  • Access to reliable computer and internet setup.

This position requires candidates who have completed or are pursuing a Ph.D. Note that applications without this criterion will not be considered.
