Business Strategy Analyst - Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Business Strategy Analyst to join our team as a Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist.

In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with clients to understand their business needs and devise innovative strategies to drive growth and profitability.

You will have exposure to various industries, including Automotive, Technology, Manufacturing, Financial Services, and Private Equity, and will be expected to conduct thorough market research using industry-leading platforms.

Your key responsibilities will include synthesizing complex data, analyzing qualitative and quantitative information, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership and clients.

Effective communication is crucial in this role, as you will play an active part in firm-building initiatives and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • A keen interest in building a career in business strategy and mergers and acquisitions
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills (Fluent in PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Ability to conduct thorough market research on S&P CapIQ, IBISWorld, Merger Markets, Bloomberg, and other platforms
  • Ability to break down and solve ambiguous problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
  • Enterprising and collaborative professional with ability to work with a team
  • Exposure to international client geographies (North America/Western Europe/Asia-Pacific & Japan) will be considered favourably
  • Prior work experience of 1-2 years in strategy houses/Big 4/boutique consulting/corporate strategy/corporate development background is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from premier institutes globally or India
