Lead Visionary for Incubation Excellence

About the Role

As a Lead Visionary, you will be responsible for spearheading the incubation program at MII Foundation, focused on supporting startups with scalable and sustainable product or service ideas.

You will develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the incubation center, aligning it with the company's not-for-profit objectives. This involves ensuring alignment with government policies, startup ecosystem goals, and institutional/academic objectives.

Your role will encompass designing and executing incubation, acceleration, and pre-incubation programs, building a pipeline of high-potential startups and entrepreneurs, and providing mentoring, capacity-building workshops, and networking opportunities.

You will establish measurable KPIs for startups, mobilize resources through CSR partnerships, government grants, international agencies, and institutional support, and ensure cost-effective operations and financial sustainability.

As a key stakeholder, you will forge collaborations with corporates, investors, academic institutions, and government bodies, establish MoUs with ecosystem enablers, and build international linkages for global exposure of incubated startups.

Key responsibilities include ensuring statutory compliance under Section 8 of Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable laws, regular reporting to the Board of Directors/Advisory Council, and maintaining transparency, accountability, and governance best practices.

Additionally, you will track performance metrics of incubated startups, publish annual reports highlighting impact in terms of employment, innovation, and social contribution, and drive outcome-based evaluations for continuous improvement.

This position demands a strong leader who can position the incubation company as a leading ecosystem enabler, promote incubated startups through media, events, and demo days, and represent the company at industry forums, policy discussions, and global conferences.

Requirements for this role include establishing labs, prototyping facilities, co-working infrastructure, encouraging adoption of emerging technologies, facilitating IP creation and technology transfer, and building a model that continues beyond grants—ensuring resilience and continuity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
