Job Title: Software Engineer - Windchill Development

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement complex software solutions for Windchill customizations, extensions, and integrations.

- Develop and maintain high-quality Windchill workflows, lifecycle templates, policies, and business rules to meet customer requirements.

- Build and maintain reliable custom APIs, services, and interfaces to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems (ERP, CAD, CRM, etc.) ensuring seamless data exchange.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and QA engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Perform thorough code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality and maintainable software solutions.

- Optimize Windchill system performance and troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner.

- Maintain accurate documentation for customizations, configurations, and code deployments to facilitate future maintenance and enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Windchill development and customization.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and related technologies used in Windchill development.
  • Hands-on experience with Windchill APIs, Info-Engine, Method Server customization, and web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Experience with Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, or other Windchill modules.
  • Familiarity with PLM business processes and product lifecycle concepts.
  • Solid understanding of database systems (Oracle, SQL) and writing efficient queries.
  • Experience with build and deployment tools, version control systems (Git, SVN).
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
