Job Title: AI/ML Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and deploy custom OCR models utilizing cloud-based technologies.
  • Automate document classification and data extraction from various inputs including PDFs, scanned images and invoices.
  • Develop multilingual OCR workflows by integrating translation APIs and leverage NLP insights using natural language processing tools.
  • Create GenAI-powered solutions with cloud-based services for semantic understanding, summarization and contextual search of documents.
  • Implement image-based document analysis and identity verification using machine learning algorithms.
  • Develop scalable pipelines for OCR output post-processing using Python, Java or .NET programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored, production-grade solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with data privacy, security and governance standards across cloud platforms.
Required Expertise:
  • 8+ years of experience in OCR technologies, intelligent document processing and enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions.
  • Expertise in cloud-based AI Services and AWS AI/ML stack including Textract, Comprehend and Rekognition.
  • Strong coding skills in Python, Java or .NET programming languages with hands-on experience in post-processing OCR outputs.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services including EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda and Step Functions.
  • Deep knowledge of document layout analysis including tables, forms and key-value pairs.
  • Experience with NLP tools, translation APIs and GenAI model training, fine-tuning and deployment.
  • Exposure to Consumer, Retail and Logistics domain workflows.
  • Understanding of Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with ability to work in Agile projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
