Job Title: Experienced .NET Microservices Engineer

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled .NET + Microservices Engineer to join our team for an initial 3-month engagement.

You will be working on critical backend systems leveraging modern .NET technologies, microservice patterns, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain applications using .NET Core 8 and C#.
  2. Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs.
  3. Build and support microservices deployed via Docker and orchestrated with Kubernetes.
  4. Implement FTP server protocols and handle complex file operations.
  5. Design and maintain job scheduling and batch processing workflows.
  6. Ensure seamless integration with SQL Server and handle relational data modeling.
  7. Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively with the team.
  8. Work with Azure cloud services for application deployment and management.
  9. Integrate with Kafka as a message broker for event-driven architecture.
  10. Ensure secure development practices, especially for API and data handling.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core 8 and C#.
  • Solid understanding of microservice architecture.
  • Proficiency in REST API design, development, and integration.
  • Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Experience with FTP protocols and file operations.
  • Proven expertise in job scheduling and batch workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server.
  • Experience with Git for version control and collaborative workflows.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud platform.
  • Working knowledge of Kafka.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of security best practices in API and data handling.

3 Months (extension possible based on project requirements)
