Job Overview

As a skilled software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and configuring custom applications that meet specific business needs.

Your primary duties will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, creating innovative solutions, and ensuring the seamless integration of applications to support organizational goals.

You will also participate in testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities to enhance application performance and user experience, ultimately contributing to the success of projects you are involved in.

  • The ideal candidate will provide level 2-3 technical support for various applications.
  • They will perform configuration changes as required and provide on-call support.
  • Preventive maintenance activities, such as certificate renewals and compliance with industry standards, will be carried out by the candidate to ensure system stability.
  • Client change management process and activities will be supported by the individual.
  • Incident change and problem management activities, along with break-fix support and stakeholder management, will be performed by the candidate.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and have progressed to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Effective solutions and support within the designated environment will be provided by the candidate to resolve system-related issues.
Technical Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, specifically with the BASE24 classic system.
  • Demonstrated expertise in configuring Tandem subsystems.
  • Proficiency in COBOL85, TACL, TAL, and BASE24 Classic is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with Tandem utilities such as FUP, Enscribe, Batchcom, Spoolcom, XPNET, Pathway, Meascom, Peruse, and TSS is required.
  • Familiarity with transaction routing, authorization, ATM cutover, balancing, and configuration is essential.
  • Experience working in the Cards and Payments domain is preferable.
Key Attributes

Strong interpersonal communication skills are required.

A Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field or equivalent work experience is necessary.
