Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of quality assurance engineers. They should be experienced in setting up and managing quality processes for mobile application testing, including debugging with Charles Proxy and ADB commands.
Key responsibilities include leading and managing a team of QA engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to timelines. The candidate must also perform mobile application testing (Android & iOS) with expertise in Charles Proxy, ADB commands, and debugging tools.
Other responsibilities include setting up and optimizing QA processes, test strategies, and best practices for mobile app testing. The candidate must collaborate with developers and product teams to identify, debug, and resolve issues efficiently.
They must prepare test plans, test cases, and QA reports, ensuring comprehensive coverage and high-quality releases. Additionally, they must drive continuous improvement in QA processes, automation strategy (if applicable), and team efficiency.
Required qualifications include at least 7-9 years of experience with at least 2-3 years as a Test Lead/Team Lead. Strong hands-on experience in mobile application testing (manual and debugging) is also required.
Proficiency in Charles Proxy, ADB commands, and mobile debugging tools is essential. Experience in setting up QA processes and strategies for mobile application testing is also necessary.
Candidates must have strong knowledge of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and release cycles. Excellent skills in defect triage, bug reporting, and defending bugs with developers are also required.
Preferred qualifications include experience managing a team of 5-8 QA engineers, with proven leadership and mentoring abilities. Strong communication, problem-solving, and proactive leadership skills are also necessary.
