Job Summary

The Edge Partnership is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team. This role will focus on advising clients on market products, including derivatives and other relevant financial instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, negotiate, and manage execution of master agreements for market products, including ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support Annexes (CSAs), and Global Master Repurchase Agreements (GMRAs).
  • Ensure robust legal risk control and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Advise clients on regulatory changes and assess their impact on market products.
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and global teams to ensure consistent approaches.
  • Manage external legal counsel as needed for specific transactions or projects.

Requirements:

  • Lawyer/negotiator with a minimum of 10 years of experience in derivatives, preferably in the Indian regulatory environment.
  • Prior experience in legal private practice or as in-house counsel at an investment bank.
  • Expertise in template development, systems, and related software.
  • Experience working with offshore teams and third-party service providers.

Salary Range: ₹3,500,000 - ₹4,200,000 per annum

This salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
