Job Title: AR Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role will have 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience and possess end-to-end knowledge in Accounts Receivable.

  • Graduates and/or postgraduates with 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience are required to apply.
  • End-to-End Knowledge in Accounts Receivable is a must.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Billing & Invoicing, Cash Application, Customer Reconciliation skills are necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  • A basic understanding of Billing and invoicing is required.
  • Conversant of various online tools and systems is an advantage.
  • Responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day calls/queries relating to billing processes.
  • Day-to-day reporting of activities and progress reports to seniors is necessary.
  • Resolve inquiries/queries related to Billing, adhere to the policy guidelines for billing.
  • Follow up with field location team for necessary supporting documents required for billing.
  • Managing and recovering outstanding payments from customers is crucial.
  • Contacting debtors, negotiating payment plans, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements is essential.
  • Investigating and addressing customer concerns related to billing, payments, or account discrepancies is a key responsibility.
  • Downloading of Bank statements for all accounts is necessary.
  • Providing bank statements, remittances and correspondences received to the collectors on the same day is required.
  • Performing the regular standard tasks of Customer Invoicing Processing function is essential.
  • Cash is applied only based on the defined process without exceptions.
  • Collate all remittances for the Cash/Wire/Cheque payments received and apply to the correct invoice using Remittance Advice from customers or related collectors.
  • Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund.
  • Providing details of un-applied and unidentified cash to all collectors daily and follow up proactively to get details of applications.
Requirements:
  • Good analytical and communication skills are required.
  • High energy, self-motivation with a high degree of accountability is necessary.
  • Oral and written communications skills in English are essential.
  • Capability to work under time pressure in a dynamic business environment is required.
