Senior PHP Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of our software applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality PHP applications using object-oriented programming principles.
  • Work with CodeIgniter (CI 1 & 4) frameworks, leveraging expertise in both legacy and modern versions.
  • Promote best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
  • Design, optimize, and manage MySQL databases with hands-on experience.
  • Apply JavaScript (ES6+) skills for client-side functionality and backend integration.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, readability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Write and maintain unit tests for code reliability and regression prevention.
  • Utilize Git for version control, branching, and collaborative development.
  • Integrate with RESTful APIs for consuming and creating endpoints.
  • Tune performance on both frontend and backend.
  • Mentor junior developers in adopting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advocate for best engineering practices.
  • Maintain technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
