Project Director

A strategic professional is required to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of high-end projects, ensuring exceptional team management, quality standards, and timely execution.

About the Role

The Project Director will lead strategy execution across various phases, including design, pre-construction, construction, and procurement, addressing escalations and mitigating project roadblocks while incorporating stakeholder input.

Responsibilities:

Project Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Oversee financial planning and budgeting to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Team Leadership and Management
  • Lead a high-performing team by setting clear goals and expectations.
  • Mentor and develop direct reports to enhance their skills and abilities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the project teams.
Client and Stakeholder Relations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Communicate project progress and status to senior executives and clients.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
People Management
  • Manage performance evaluations and provide feedback to direct reports.
  • Support recruitment strategies and talent development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Project & Construction Management, with at least 4-7 years in leading large teams.
  • Proven expertise in operations within Real Estate and Construction sectors.
  • Strong background in cross-functional team leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with fast-paced work environments and adeptness in problem-solving and data analysis.
