About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Tax Specialist to join our team in Pune. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the tax affairs of Worldpay outside of the US (OUS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the OUS team in managing the outsourcing of corporate tax affairs through coordination with advisors, sharing relevant data, and preparing responses to tax queries.
  • Manage internal tax team payment processes, working closely with the treasury team to ensure timely tax payments.
  • Prepare national, state, and local income tax or withholding tax returns, maintaining accurate and proper tax records.
  • Book tax entries into accounting software and advise the business on tax bookings to local entities' books.

Tax Compliance
• Prepare various reports for federal, state, and local reporting as well as other areas of tax compliance.
• Provide ad hoc tax advice with support from the direct tax team.
