We are seeking a highly skilled Blue Yonder Solutions Architect to join our team at Birlasoft.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in designing, developing, and implementing Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (BY WMS) solutions. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for bridging business requirements with system capabilities, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Development:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements to create technical and functional designs for BY WMS solutions.
  • Develop and customize BY WMS functionalities, including MOCA commands, Integrators, Page Builder forms, Triggers, Wrappers, Jobs, Tasks, Reports, Labels, RF, Voice, and Workflows.
  • Write basic and complex SQL queries to support system development and troubleshooting.
  • Enhance existing functionalities and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Implementation and Upgrades:

  • Lead or participate in multiple BY WMS implementations across the globe, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Plan and execute BY WMS upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Migration and Integration:

  • Manage various stages of product development, application migration, infrastructure management, and application integration.
  • Perform functional and technical gap analysis and recommend optimal strategies for migration and integration.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct testing of client-server and web-based applications, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Prepare test deliverables and defect logs, ensuring high-quality deployments.
  • Collaborate closely with development and technical support teams to resolve quality issues.

Support and Maintenance:

  • Provide functional and technical support to clients, resolving critical incidents within SLA.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve system performance.

Client Interaction and Documentation:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, gathering business requirements and providing technical consultancy.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Process Procedures, Configuration Guides, and Functional Specifications.

Team Collaboration:

  • Coordinate effectively with onsite and offshore teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support cross-functional teams during all phases of the project lifecycle.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
