We are seeking a talented textile professional to join our design team. This role is perfect for an individual with strong expertise in print design and prior experience in export houses, specifically in the bedsheet category.

About the Role

This position involves developing creative and trend-forward print designs for bedsheets and other home furnishing categories. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the retail landscape and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design prints for bedsheets and other home furnishings (e.g., curtains, cushions, table linens).
  • Translate global and domestic trends into commercial designs suited for the retail market.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and sourcing teams to align design output with product planning and timelines.
  • Coordinate with production and vendors to ensure quality and accuracy in sampling and final output.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to drive innovation in design.
  • Prepare mood boards, color palettes, CADs, and print repeats for presentations and approvals.
  • Contribute to seasonal collection planning and visual merchandising inputs.
Requirements:
  • At least 1.5 years of hands-on experience in textile/print design, preferably in an export house.
  • Expertise in bedsheet design and familiarity with both soft and hard furnishings.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.
  • Strong design sensibility with an eye for detail, color, and composition.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Textile/Fashion Design from a reputable institution (preferred).
