Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for thorough testing.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to identify and report defects.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure all critical aspects are covered.
  • Analyse test results, identify issues, and provide clear feedback to the development team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting using test management tools.
  • Maintain process-oriented testing while ensuring agility and speed in test execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in manual testing with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with user and product perspective thinking.
  • Experience in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with various testing tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
