Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Test Automation Lead to oversee automation testing activities across projects in the medical devices industry. The ideal candidate will drive, manage and govern automation testing, ensuring compliance with global healthcare regulations and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Govern all test automation activities, setting direction and ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.
  • Review and approve test scripts prior to submission for acceptance by stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices in test automation, continuously improving processes and methodologies.
  • Mentor and coach engineers in automation testing, developing their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain technical capabilities within the team to handle complex testing scenarios.
  • Ensure adherence to global healthcare regulations and standards, interpreting regulatory requirements and aligning testing practices accordingly.
  • Liaise between internal teams and external stakeholders, driving alignment and collaboration.
  • Monitor emerging trends and innovations in test automation for potential adoption and implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in testing, with at least recent 5 years in test automation.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium.
  • Proven track record of leading automation testing for medical devices.
  • Familiarity with global healthcare regulations and experience interpreting and applying these regulations in testing scenarios.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience implementing these approaches.
