Job Title: Data Science Specialist

We're seeking a talented Data Science Specialist to join our team and contribute to innovative projects that drive data capabilities.


About the Role:
  • Dive into the world of data science, working on projects that enhance our Astros domain.
  • Collaborate with a talented team of data scientists and analysts to gain essential skills and expertise.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Support the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of data for robust analysis.
  2. Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms.
  3. Engage in exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and insights relevant to Astros projects.
  4. Contribute fresh perspectives and ideas to various data science projects.
  5. Participate in training sessions and workshops to further enhance technical knowledge and skills.
  6. Document findings and present them to the team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, particularly Python or R, is essential.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning principles and practices.
  • Possess strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
  • Good communication skills and the eagerness to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Ability to work from our office for hands-on training and experience.
