About the Role

HARMAN International is seeking a highly skilled Audio FO Technical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the development of cutting-edge audio solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of audio features and ensure 100% feature coverage
  • Provide commitment for milestones and sprint releases
  • Track progress for features and user stories planned and escalate any risks or dependencies affecting milestones
  • Analyze and understand customer requirements specifications and change requests
  • Interface with customers to clarify assigned features and obtain approval for deviations from required features
  • Act as a face to the customer from a technical standpoint, representing the engineering teams and CPM for their domain
  • Manage and facilitate the resolution of defects for their domain by clarifying requirements, coordinating interdomain discussion, and providing direction as set by program managers
  • Demonstrate character, clarity, courage, and commitment to high-performance
  • Build an environment of trust, high performance, and engagement by establishing clear goals and a commitment to feedback, development, and recognition
  • Champion a better, faster, and simpler way of doing things

Qualifications and Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive IVI or head unit or cluster software development and validation
  • Technical architect/lead/manager experience in automotive IVI or head unit or cluster software development and validation
  • Strong knowledge of audio and DSP concepts, audio source management, audio pre/post processing, audio routing, amplifiers, A2B/AVB, Android audio FW and HAL
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Willingness to travel
