Job Summary

As an EV Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for validating traction motor used in electric vehicle applications.

  • Validate traction motor performance and efficiency
  • Verify inverter drives functionality in EV applications
  • Test and analyze motor control software and commutation quality
  • Characterize Id, Iq, and perform space vector analysis and motor noise analysis

Key Responsibilities:

  • Component level / vehicle level validation on electric vehicles
  • Part level validation on machine invertors and batteries
  • Familiar with power inverters architecture
  • Knowledge of electric vehicle standards and regulations (AIS, ISO functional safety)
  • Familiar with testing standards for reliability and durability
  • Basic knowledge of software architectures and algorithm validation
  • Knowledge of software tools like CANOE, Vehicle Spy

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles
  • Experience with EV testing and validation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
