Cognitive Search Architect

This role enables natural language insights from structured and unstructured data, reports, and dashboards. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in Azure Cognitive Search and data engineering with a passion for delivering intuitive user experiences and business value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of AI-powered search and discovery solutions using Azure Cognitive Search and related AI services.
  • Data Engineering: Build pipelines to ingest, index, and enrich data from diverse sources (databases, reports, dashboards, documents).
  • Natural Language Query: Enable natural language query capabilities for business users to interact with enterprise data.
  • Semantic Search: Integrate semantic search, embeddings, and generative AI techniques for advanced insights.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with business teams to define use cases in finance, operations, and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Experience: 7–10 years of experience in data engineering, with 2+ years in cognitive search/NLP solutions.
  • Skills: Strong experience with Azure Cognitive Search, Cognitive Services, and AI/ML frameworks; Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data integration for search indexing.
