Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned application manager with 8–10 years of experience managing enterprise applications across HR, Finance, Admin, Operations and Legal functions within the Indian insurance sector.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing end-to-end lifecycles of corporate applications, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and scalability of platforms like Darwinbox, SAP Treasury.

They will also possess the ability to support integration of COTS, BESPOKE & Cloud Native applications, experience towards Cloud Platform – AZURE & AWS, knowledge of AI & Agentic AI application use cases, evaluation and development of new applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Ownership & Management:
    • Manage the entire lifecycle of corporate applications, from development to deployment and maintenance.
    • Ensure that applications are performing optimally, are available when needed, and can scale to meet business demands.
    • Support the integration of various applications, including COTS, BESPOKE & Cloud Native applications.
    • Develop and maintain expertise in Cloud Platforms such as AZURE & AWS.
    • Evaluate and develop new applications to meet business needs.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Support:
    • Work closely with external regulators such as UIDAI and Aadhaar authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Ensure that all data protection and regulatory standards are met.
  • Project & Change Management:
    • Support IFRS-related application changes and enhancements.
    • Drive application upgrades, CRs, and integration projects.
  • Incident & Problem Management:
    • Lead the resolution of application-related incidents.
    • Adhere to internal ITIL processes for change, incident, and problem management.
  • Vendor & Budget Management:
    • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs.
    • Track and optimize application budgets and licensing costs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Admin, Legal, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
    • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date application documentation, SOPs, and compliance records.
    • Provide regular updates to leadership on application health, risks, and roadmap.
  • Information Security Compliance:
    • Mitigate VA / PT observations from Info-Security Team.
    • Ability to face internal & external audit.
