• Booking and Coordination: Arrange and coordinate ocean shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation. Communicate with carriers, ensuring accurate bookings and resolving any discrepancies.
• Documentation: Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other relevant paperwork. Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
• Customer Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on shipments and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Carrier Relations: Collaborate with ocean carriers to negotiate rates, secure space, and address any operational issues. Monitor carrier performance and seek continuous improvement opportunities.
• Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and address any issues or delays in the transportation process. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to find timely and effective solutions.

• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately prepare and review shipping documentation.
