  • As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in advancing our cutting-edge research and development initiatives in information retrieval and generative AI.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop end-to-end machine learning product solutions from concept to deployment.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data-driven strategies.
  3. Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for model development.
  4. Pursue breakthrough research in information retrieval and generative AI.

Technical Expertise Required

  1. Design and optimize transformer-based architectures for information retrieval and generation.
  2. Implement advanced chunking strategies for semantic search and RAG applications.
  3. Build and maintain real-time machine learning pipelines processing large volumes of documents.
  4. Develop production-ready models with proper monitoring, versioning, and deployment strategies.

Innovation & Research Focus

  1. Research and prototype innovative AI techniques in search, retrieval, and natural language processing.
  2. Design large-scale experiments and A/B tests to validate model performance and business impact.
  3. Stay current with the latest developments in Generative AI and contribute to open-source communities.
  4. Present findings to executive leadership and influence strategic product decisions.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  1. Advanced Python programming with expertise in pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch.
  2. SQL & Database Management for complex query optimization and data pipeline design.
  3. Machine Learning & Deep Learning with a track record of shipping ML products to production.
  4. Statistics & Probability including advanced statistical modeling and hypothesis testing.

Specialized Expertise Areas

  1. Information Retrieval Systems Search algorithms, ranking, and relevance optimization.
  2. Generative AI & LLMs Prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and deployment at scale.
  3. Content Chunking Strategies Document processing and semantic segmentation for RAG systems.
  4. Vector Databases Hands-on experience with Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or OpenSearch.
  5. Transformer Models Deep understanding of BERT, GPT, T5 architectures.

Advanced Technical Skills

  1. RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementation and optimization.
  2. Named Entity Recognition (NER) at enterprise scale.
  3. Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for ML deployment.
  4. MLOps tools and practices (Docker, Kubernetes, model registries).
